2 Kurdish prisoners on hunger strike in Tabas Prison

HRANA News Agency – Fakhroddin Faraji who has started his hunger strike in support of Mohammad Amin Abdullahi, was beaten and transferred to solitary confinement.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammad Amin Abdullahi, the Kurdish prisoner of central prison of Tabas, started his infinite hunger strike in response to rejection of furlough requests and continuous imprisonment in exile, on March 31 and was accordingly sent to solitary confinement.

Fakhroddin Faraji, other Kurdish prisoner of Tabas prison, who started his hunger strike in support of Mohammad Amin Abdullahi, on April 3, was beaten, insulted and transferred to solitary confinement by authorities.

An informed source, said to HRANA’s reporter, “Considering the fact that it is a common practice in Tabas prison, to keep prisoners on handcuff and shackles, probably these prisoners are in handcuff and shackles as well”.

Need to be mentioned, Mohammad Amin Abdullahi is still on hunger strike in solitary confinement.
