A Kurdish citizen is sentenced to 10 years in prison

HRANA News Agency – An inhabitant of Agorghash from Mahabad city’s rural territory has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Samrand Frahmandi, the 23 years old son of Kamel, an inhabitant of Agorghash village from Mahabad city’s rural territory, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison by the revolutionary court.

An informed source said to HRANA’s reporter, “This citizen’s charges are political but there is no information about details or evidences”.

This source continued, “Samrand Farahmandi was summoned and arrested by security forces many times and during past moth he was sentenced two times for political charges”.

Need to be mentioned, this sentenced could be appealed within a 20 days period.
